Ministries
Be a Part of Your Parish Family!
Ministry is simply people helping other people....
How can YOU minister in YOUR parish?....
There are probably as many ways to minister as there are people in our parish! Each of us needs to share our gifts with each other through ministry. There are many and diverse needs in the parish - some that take only a few minutes to fulfill. Most of the Liturgical ministries are done while you are at Mass on the weekends. We need people to welcome others as greeters, people to enhance our celebration by gifting us with their musical talents or proclaiming the Word by reading, families to bring up the gifts and people to help give out the Eucharist. Could you do one of these just once a month?
We need people to help with the Family Ministries, bake for the Bereavement Committee for receptions after funerals, teach our children our faith during CCD and the Liturgy of the Word during Mass, work with our young people through CYC and Scouts, reach out to our diocesan family through Faith In Action, help plan our liturgies and reach out to our elderly and homebound.
