The History of the Advent Wreath
"A few years ago, you posted an Advent Prayer Cube project. My daughter made several for us and for family members and it has become a cherished part of our Advent. A few weeks ago, several of us from school were trying to come up with an idea for an Advent project for our family Advent Prayer service. Advent wreaths are out because the parish does that. I threw out the idea of making the prayer cubes and brought the one that my daughter made in as a sample. Everyone loved the idea and so we will be making those this Friday. The prayer for Christmas that is attached to the cube as a sort of tag will hang on the school's Christmas tree throughout Advent and then those will be returned to the kids to add to their boxes right before Christmas. Just thought you might be happy to know that this wonderful craft is being well used!"
